Ronald Lorenzo Lee

Inna illahi wa inna illahi ra’joon

Ronald Lorenzo Lee (Nadir) was born on December 25th, 1958.   

He returned to Allah on Sunday, August 16th, 2020.

Ronald was the fourth of six children to the late Calvin V. Lee and Hazel Alford Lee.

Ronald attended St. Carthage Catholic Elementary School, for secondary education he attended the Philadelphia public school system. He furthered his education and earned a certificate in Graphic Printing. He was very proficient and creative in his craft.

Ronald worked in a creative capacity for many graphic printing companies over the course of several years. One of his many accomplishments was opening and operating his own graphic print shop. When technology changed the industry, he transitioned to other endeavors.

He was a dedicated employee at Avis Car Rental for many years. He shared his smile and conversed with passing customers as well as coworkers. Down time at Avis was spent continuing his passion of self- development and new business ideas. He incorporated a non-profit organization designed to provide technology training programs to inner city youth.

Ronald was an individual with a big heart known to be a stylish dresser, hardworking, and a lover of life. He had a strong entrepreneurial spirit and loved family.

Though he was not married and did not have children, he did have a special woman in his life, his MOTHER, whom he adored until his passing.

He accepted Islam early in his life and became devoted to it. He enjoyed fellowshipping and was active in the Masjid.

He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin V. Lee and his older brother, Jeffrey Lee (Antar).

Ronald (Nadir) leaves behind to honor and celebrate his life, his mother, Hazel Alford Lee; two sisters, Bridget Lee Murray, Jeanne Lee; and two brothers, Kenneth Lee, and Gregory Lee; one brother in law, Joseph A. Murray; 6 nieces and 3 nephews, Christine Lee Johnson (Willie, Sr.), Jennifer Murray, Brooke Lee, Rashantee Lee Riddick, Kenneth Lee Jr, Erica Lee Porter (Amin), Victor Lee, William Lee, and Victoria Jennings, extended family and his Islamic Community.
